Love on the Dole

Our second production was in February 2010.

Love on the Dole by Walter Greenwood.

The play is set in 1930's 'Hanky Park' and area in Salford, Manchester. This area was hit with very high levels of un-employment, and suffered some of the worst social deprivation in the country.

The play tells the story of the proud Hardcastle family's heartache and hardship and how through adversity they survive.
